Two men from opposite sides of the law are undercover within the Boston State Police department and the Irish mafia, but violence and bloodshed boil when discoveries are made, and the moles are dispatched to find out their enemy's identities.
This movie is perhaps, the best drama I've seen in my life. This automatically wipes the floor with Boondock Saints, and I didn't think that was possible.
All of the major characters do a stellar job. The only strange thing was, I wound up rooting for one of the badguys. The ending is fantastic, it plays out perfectly.
It stars Leonardo Dicaprio, Matt Damon, and Jack Nicholson.
I hated the first two before this movie. Now I'm a pretty big fan of Damon, and a marginal fan of Leo. Nicholson still rocks as usual.
